Registration and Payment

To register for our children’s camp, you must provide accurate and complete information. You will be required to pay a deposit to secure your spot. 

Camp Rules and Behaviour Expectations

All children are expected to follow the rules and behavior expectations of the camp. This includes but is not limited to: respecting fellow students and staff, following safety protocols, and complying with all camp rules.

Medical Requirements

All children must have complete and accurate medical information. This includes any allergies, medical conditions and medications. We reserve the right to request additional medical information if necessary.

Liability and Indemnity

We take the safety and well-being of our campers very seriously, and have liability insurance in place to cover any injuries, accidents or damages that may occur during the camp. However, we want to make it clear that by registering for our camp, you acknowledge that participation in camp activities comes with inherent risks, and you agree to hold us harmless and indemnify us from any claims, damages or expenses that may arise from your child’s participation in the camp.

Changes, Refunds and Cancellations

  • If you wish to change your booking we will endeavor to make such changes as you may request but it may not always be possible to accommodate such requests. Any request for changes to the booking must be made either in writing. If we agree to your request we will confirm the changes in writing. We cannot accept changes 14 days or less prior to the arrival. 
  •  We reserve the right to make changes to the booking which are required to conform to any applicable safety or other statutory requirements or which are not of a material nature. 
  • Itineraries and programmes are subject to alteration due to operational factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to substitute our services of reasonably equal or better standard without prior notice or liability and without any alteration to the price. 
  • You shall be entitled to cancel the booking upon providing us with written notice. The amount you will be refunded is dependent on the following:
    • PERIOD PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DATE:
      • More than 30 days – 100% refund *
      • Between 30 – 14 days – No refund can carry to the next camp dates*
      • Less than 14 days – No refund 
        *Subject to a 5% processing fee
  • Without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to us we shall be entitled to cancel the contract without any liability in the following circumstances: (a) if you do not pay the price in full in accordance with the payment dates; or (b) if you fail to provide any information requested by us. In the event of cancellation under this clause you shall receive the appropriate amounts as stated above. 
  • The date of cancellation shall be deemed to be the date upon which we provide you with notice of cancellation.
  • We cannot refund your booking due to Force Majeure.
  • We aim to process refunds as quickly as possible, but please note that it may take up to 14 working days for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it.

Photography

To ensure our marketing materials provide a truthful representation of our camps, we feature photographs of children who have attended our previous camps. If you do not wish your child’s images to be used in our future marketing materials, please select your preferred option on the booking form, and we will ensure your child’s photographs are not used for marketing purposes.
 
Please note, any misuse or sharing of images or videos taken at the camp is strictly prohibited and may result in your child’s exclusion from the camp.
 

Privacy

We collect personal information from campers and their parents/guardians for the purposes of registration and communication. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Safeguarding

We have a comprehensive safeguarding policy in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all our campers, and we strictly adhere to its guidelines and procedures.

Data Protection

Philosopher’s Camp is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. To process your booking, we need to collect personal details about you and your children. We will treat it as confidential and keep it secure, complying with all relevant UK legislation. We will need to use your email address and telephone number to contact you with information in regards to any bookings that you make and any additional information that we might need about your child.

We would also like to use some of your details to keep you up to date on what’s going on at Camp ONEder and will ask for your consent during the registration / booking process. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of the camp or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from this website without our prior written consent.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the camp is located. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of that jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of this website after any changes to these terms and conditions shall constitute your acceptance of the modified terms.
